Sunflowers Liverpool Charity Event

A Huge Thank You to the lovely ladies from The Sunflowers Liverpool Charity for a great evening.

Sunflowers is an organisation offering support to families and individuals who are affected by cancer. They provide a drop in centre and offer a range of services from complementary therapies to information and a friendly listening ear. http://liverpoolsunflowers.com/

It had been some weeks since I had a clear out of my handbag. It had been gradually getting heavier and heavier as the days past. It was only when Beckie commented on how heavy my bag had become and that I'd be getting biceps before much longer, that I realized the time had come to sort it out.
I cleared a space on the floor and began to empty the contents of . Usual everyday essential first - Phone, purse, keys, make up bag. Then I dug a bit deeper to find some of the more not so essentail items I had accumilated over the weeks including -

Beckie-L Supports Local Charity Ladies Day Event

At Beckie-L we love supporting and helping our local charities and this month we'll be supporting St Joseph’s Hospice at their next event.St Joseph’s Hospice are once again holding their popular annual Ladies Day at Formby Hall Golf Club on Sunday 27th June. The event will start at 11.30am and will finish at approximately 5pm. The day will be hosted by Eithne Brown (who played Chrissie Rogers in Brookside and now appears regularly at The Royal Court in Liverpool). The entertainment during the day will be provided from a wonderful female vocalist Toni James.

On the day the will be mini treatment sessions available which include reiki, reflexology, massage and mini nail treatments. A donation of £4 is asked for these treatments. In addition the will be stalls selling Jewellery, Accessories, Sunglasses, Shoes and of course we will be there too.

Beckie-L Support Local Charity Pamper Evening

At Beckie-L we love supporting and helping our local charities and this month we'll be supporting Sunflowers at their next event.

Sunflowers is a wonderful charity that provides emotional support to people who are living with cancer. This is acheived through various 'feel good factor' programmes. From music therapy to tai chi a variety of programmes help people living with cancer to address their emotions.

Beckie-L is very pleased to be supporting Sunflowers through their forthcoming 'Pamper Evening' event on May 18th. There are a fabulous array of treatments availble during the evening from hand massage to reiki and hair consultations. Inaddition to this there will be stalls selling jewellery and accessories... and we'll be there with the Beckie-L bags too.
